Heru and Set - The Struggle Within

Heru, Ausar and Auset - Holy Kemetic Trinity

There are many versions of the ancient Kemetic story of Auset (Isis) and Ausar (Osiris) and Heru (Horus) available online but I will share briefly my rendition, followed by a powerful spiritual application given by Brother Floyd Williams (author of The Holy Black Papyrus).  Please enjoy and feel free to comment.  Em Hotep!

According to legend, the God Ausar and the Goddess Auset were King and Queen of Kemet and their evil brother, the God Set was jealous of Ausar and murdered Him. The jealous Set then took Ausar's body, and dismembered it into many pieces.  

The Goddess Auset then lost her position of power and the evil Set took over the rule of the Kingdom reigning as a tyrant. Auset searched tirelessly for the body of Ausar and finally finding him, performed a magical ritual with her sister Nebt Het (Nephthys) to bring him back to life. By performing this ritual, the Spirit of life returned to the God Ausar and through this divine reunification with Auset, the holy child Heru (Horus) was born.  These three, Auset, Ausar and Heru make the original holy and blessed trinity. 

Heru, being the true Son of God, grew strong and set out to defeat the dominion of Set. A war brewed between Heru and Set until finally Heru defeated Set and returned the Kingdom to His Father Ausar.  (For More Detail See the Metternich Stela)

Too many people after reading the battle of Heru (Horus) and Set only come away with two figures engaged in an envious conflict missing the whole moral point, as well as, the natural laws of cosmogony and science of man.

So before going in depth into the story, it is only apt for the reader’s sake that a basic explanation be given on the logic of Egyptian writing style. Life or the universe has its way of revealing things to certain people, example: two people could observe the same phenomenon and come away with two different stories or one might come away with a story and the other might come away with absolutely nothing! How many times have you been amongst a person and you witnessed something plain as day before you and you’re so excited, that you’re moved to share so you attempt to point it out to person by giving verbal description and even pointing out with finger, exclaiming “it’s right there! However, they respond “where is it I don’t see it!”

The Egyptian writing style is like that, it’s beautiful, powerful, artistic, and mysterious all except to the chosen one or cultivated mind that is prepared to receive. We are all potential initiates. What I am pointing out is that the Egyptian writing style is designed for man to make a correlation within himself. However, the writers were also protective about giving certain mysteries to those who had shown a certain degree of readiness.

HOW TO MAKE SENSE OF THE STORY OF HERU AND SET TO AWAKEN THE POWER WITHIN

We are in the age of revelation. We are in the age of opening. We are in the age of enlightenment. As a writer, my aim is to give, so I try to write clearly and simply as possible, however I know some people still will not see.

Before I actually get into the science of the Horus and Set story, I am going to share a statement and share a definition:

POLARITY- THE PROPERTY OR CHARACTERISTIC THAT PRODUCES UNEQUAL PHYSICAL EFFECTS AT DIFFERENT POINTS IN A BODY OR SYSTEM, SUCH AS A MAGNET OR STORAGE BATTERY. THE POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE STATE IN WHICH A BODY REACTS TO A MAGNETIC, ELECTRIC, OR OTHER FIELD. THE PRESENCE OR MANIFESTATION OF TWO OPPOSITE OR CONTRASTING PRINCIPLES OR TENDENCIES. OF WORDS, PHRASES, OR SENTENCES. POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE CHARACTER. POLAR OPPOSITION. 

So, upon reading this definition, one can see exactly what the bi-polar person suffers from, which is lack of self control and self mastery. The inability to control the higher and lower self, the story of Heru and Set is a story of the struggle between good and evil between light and dark within man.

Man is composed of a higher and lower nature which consists of a real force accompanied with the propensity to draw towards righteousness or unrighteousness. Heru represents the higher power in man, the light in man or as some would describe as the CHRIST in man. Heru represents the divinity in man; from this one NATURAL ORDER When referencing ancient Egypt it is classified as upper and lower Egypt, which is symbolical as the  dual nature in man representing higher and lower nature.

When a baby is born a sign is given to man, as to what is supposed to be king and queen and is supposed to be out front. Once the baby’s head pierces the womb the doctor declares the baby is crowning! As a people, we are to lead with our heads in combination with our hearts.

Heru's eyes symbolically represent the sun and moon; this represents opposing forces and the struggle for balance. In Sanskrit the word Hatha applied to Hatha Yoga means sun and moon. The “ha” means sun and “tha” means moon. Taking us right back to balance. All of the struggles and tests we are faced with in life are about the cultivation of our higher selves. As you move about daily, bear in mind the principles outlined in this piece and your transmutation will be glorious.

What are Portals and Paradigms?

This communication was received during meditation after a meeting with my HGA (Higher Self/Guardian Angel).

It is shared here to give insight and to assist you in connecting to your higher self.

The archangelics (ANGELS) manifest through portals and paradigms in order to communicate messages to the flames (UNENLIGHTENED HUMANITY/REINCARNATED ANGELS) of the third dimension (PHYSICAL WORLD).

Archangelics can shapeshift, enabling them to manifest in any paradigm (EARTHLY SITUATIONS/RELIGIONS).  Paradigms are designed by the minds of the individual flames (ALL PARADIGMS ARE MANMADE).  Each paradigm has time tunnels with portals to other dimensional realms and are GATEWAYS/STARGATES.

Without the intervention of the archangelics, these time tunnels would be time traps for the individual flames who in a slumbering unconscious state are unable to open the portals to the other realms on their own.  They have been put to sleep over time and have forgotten how to use the keys in their individual minds to open these gateways to free themselves.

There are an unlimited number of paradigms that exist throughout every culture and down through time.  A paradigm can be created by a simple thought fed with energy.  These energetic thought forms create realities (PARADIGMS) that manifest in the material world, i.e. cultural norms/realities, societies, kingdoms, religions, etc.

A paradigm is nothing more than a thought form created by the mortal mind.  The archangelics are subject to the mortal mind in so much as they must operate through these distinct paradigms in order to connect with and make contact with the eternal flames that are kept locked away in the lost and forgotten mind of human consciousness.

The mortal mind lays trapped in unconsciousness, devoid of reality, ever living an illusional paradigm of its own creation waiting for contact from the higher dimensional self to be made.  This contact is made through the archangelic energies and intelligences which enlighten the mortal mind and reignite the divine spark or flame to consciousness so that it is awakened to its greater reality.

Some call this being born again or the resurrection of the spirit, however, it is only an awakening and connection.  The mortal mind must fully awaken to the paradigms within which it has existed in order to ascend to the higher realms of existence where the consciousness will create a whole new reality filled with even higher degrees and paradigms.

In order to perceive and experience these higher levels of reality in this life or the next, the mortal mind must awaken.  This is the message of the Pyramid Texts.  Once awakened, it must reconnect with itself through the archangelic contact in whatever paradigm the mortal mind has access to, be it religion, spirituality, or the metaphysical sciences.  Once connected, the mortal mind will reignite its own individual and eternal flame.  This inner light will lead the way to the brotherhood of the eternal flame, where all is unified and one in consciousness to continually carry this torch to other less enlightened flames.  This is also considered the Brotherhood of Light.

Creating Your Own Temple

Tuning in and Setting the Vibration

Kabbalah Class teaches a way of life and a way of being, helping the student to evolve to higher states of existence and personal power.  The Kabbalah or Tree of Life represents our physical, mental and spiritual being and teaches us how to nourish and develop these areas in order to grow and prosper.

As you begin taking the Kabbalah Class, vibrationally you will shift.  This means, your frequency will change due to the more balanced energies coming into your magnetic field.  This will create an inner sense of harmony and wellbeing.  These energies are the basic elements of life; fire, air, water, earth and spirit.

In order to keep your energies balanced and further develop them to the point of Sixth Sense Awareness (to tap into the higher abilities of the Pineal Gland and Extrasensory Perceptions) you must create a physical temple to do your spiritual and personal development work.

State Your Full Moon Intention

If you want to see miraculous results, begin creating your temple with a Full Moon Ritual.  Use the full moon's expanding and manifesting power to give you the edge you need to bring your temple into perfect manifestation.  See my April Newsletter 2015 for more information on the Full Moon Ritual and contact me with any questions you may have.

Example:  "My Full Moon Intention is to build a Temple in my home dedicated to my divine inner self (holy child), the divine father god and divine mother goddess (blessed holy trinity)."

Build an Altar

Kabbalah Class will teach you the Kemetic (Ancient Egyptian) way of life.

When setting up your altar, keep in mind the Ancient Egyptian Pantheon (Osiris, Isis and Horus - Trinity), however, if you already have a spiritual practice, you can use whichever deities you prefer and be guided by your higher senses in building the altar.

What I am sharing is a general guideline.  There is no wrong way to build an altar because we are working with energy and our inner sense of knowing, so in order to develop these abilities we can't be too logical.  However, there is some logic involved, after all this is a science (Hermetic Philosophy).  Therefore, there are a few things you will want to know:

• If possible, set your altar up so you are facing East toward the rising sun.
• Place items on your altar that represent the Five Elements (See Newsletter).
• On your altar should be incense, a candle, holy water/oil, and a stone/crystal
• An image of your chosen deity
• A pillow for kneeling (if needed) unless your altar is high standing

Over time, your altar will become more elaborate and beautiful as will your life internally and externally.  Your altar is a reflection of you, how you adore and care for yourself by focusing your intention on the divine.  Worship and honor the creators at this altar and know that you are one with All.  Love and adore yourself and your divinities at this altar every day and you will know your true creative power and how you have been created in the image of the divine creator.

Once your altar is complete, dedicate your altar by performing the Full Moon Ritual.

Begin your rituals by repeating this prayer to the mother goddess Auset (Isis).  This prayer can be found in the book "The Mysteries of Isis, Her Worship and Magick" by DeTraci Regula.

Speaking The Ancient Kemetic Language

Ancient Kemetic Prayers and Music

I am currently working on developing daily rituals which will include praying in the ancient Kemetic language called the Metu Neter.  The Metu Neter is comprised of the ancient writings of Kemet (Egypt), or hieroglyphs and literally means the Word of God.  Some interpret Metu Neter to mean Mother Nature.  The Metu Neter has the potential to activate DNA and psychic awareness, open portals to other dimensions, and attract divine energies.  

It is a beautiful language when spoken but it is very difficult to find teachers or hear samples of the language.  I am including a sample here which is a transcription of the ancient writings in the form of a poem.  It is called the Teaching of King Amenemhat.

Audio Sample of Ancient Kemetic Language

The teaching of King Ammenemes I to His Son Sesostris is a short ancient Egyptian poem written during the early Middle Kingdom. The poem is an intensely dramatic monologue spoken by the ghost of the murdered 12th Dynasty pharaoh Amenemhat I to his son Senusret I. In the King's message, he describes the conspiracy that killed him and counsels his son to trust no-one.

 

The Full Moon is Coming! April Newsletter 2015

Each month I do a lunar ritual to get in tune with nature and practice waxing and waning with moon energy.

Full Moon for Manifesting

The waxing moon builds energy and builds up to a full moon each month.  Each month I use this energy to manifest my goals like the course I'm creating or any other artistic pursuit.

New Moon for Releasing Negativity

The waning moon's gravitational pull moves away from the earth pulling energy with it and is a great time for releasing what we don't want.

I use the energy to get rid of thoughts, feelings and circumstances that no longer serve me.  This is a great time for getting over bad habits.

Waxing and waning is building up energy and releasing it just like inhaling and exhaling.  Working with lunar energy will be a fundamental piece of the Blue Lotus University curriculum for personal development and spiritual growth.

Mini Moon Ritual for Full Moon

Tools Needed:

1. White candle (fire)
2. Frankincense and Myrrh Incense (air)
3. White crystal or stone (earth)
4. Small vial of pure blessed water and anointing oil (water)
5. Image of your divinity (spirit)
6. Journal and Pen
7. Matches
8. Drum music or spiritual music

Begin by meditating for two minutes.  Take a deep breath in, hold it for four counts and release it for four counts.  When you have performed this breath four times, you are ready to begin your ritual.

Cleanse the Altar

Create a magick circle of protection around you and your altar going clockwise.
Face east, kneeling before the altar.
Use the water to cleanse your hands by wiping them with a few drops.
Then do the same with the anointing oil.
Put some oil on your finger and anoint your altar and everything on it, including incense candle, and crystals or stones.

Calling on the Elements/Angelics

Light your incense and call on the angel of the east.
Light your candle and call on the angel of the south.
Lift up your water and call the angel of the west, sit it down.
Lift up your stone and call on the angel of the north, sit it down.

Focus on Your Intention

Take a piece of paper from your journal and write out what you desire to manifest with the full moon energy.
Let it be something you want to create or attract into your life.
Write out a short sentence stating what you intend to manifest in the present tense as though its already yours.
Anoint the paper with your oil and put on your dance music.

Raise Your Energy

Dance and rejoice that your intention will manifest.
Give thanks and let your emotions rise with expectation.
Feel the energy and the vibration build up as you focus on your desire.
Be sure the energy is raised and vibrant to lock in your intention.
When you know you have connected and you feel joyful and confident, you may end the ritual.

End the Ritual

Facing east, raise the incense, thank and release the angel of the east.
Put the incense out.
Lift the candle, thank and release the angel of the south.
Put the candle out.
Lift the water, thank and release the angel of the west.
Lift the stone, thank and release the angel of north.
Draw a counter clockwise circle around yourself and your altar
Say, this circle is now open and cleared.

Tarot Made Me More Self Aware

I have been using the Tarot as a tool for meditation and personal self development for the past 8 years.  When I first began using the tarot as a form of personal self analysis, I took to the cards naturally.  Over the years, I learned to use a number of different decks.  With practice and daily use I began to master the most practical use for the cards, energy reading.  Energy reading is a type of clairvoyant personal analysis that examines how you use and direct your own personal energy.

The Kabbalah Made Me More Balanced

My study and use of the Tarot, not only led to an increase in my clairvoyant and other extrasensory abilities, but it also led to my study of the Kabbalah and ultimately magick.  Tarot, Kabbalah and Magick are all hermetic sciences that our ancient ancestors used to integrate the conscious and the subconscious mind, balance energy and live a more conscious and abundant life!
