What Exactly is the Great Work?
The Great Work is the Purpose of humanity: To master the material and spiritual realms and graduate to higher levels of existence as described by all the Great Religious and Spiritual Masters of our past. Self Mastery is achieved when one is fully integrated with his Higher Self, achieves Oneness with the Divine Creator and is able to manifest effortlessly on the material plane through the control of his will.
What Occurs if Self Mastery is not accomplished in this lifetime?
The purpose of all religion was to initiate humanity into the higher realms of existence through reconnecting the heart to the Divine Creative Source or Spirit. Many initiates have not been able to maintain their individual connection to Spirit in order to complete the Great Work of Self Mastery and Spiritual Transmutation.
Failure to complete this level of Self Mastery results in suffering and continual death until one is awakened to his Higher Self and realizes the Purpose of his existence. If this work is not completed in this lifetime, the initiate will re-incarnate in a future existence on the material plane to learn mastery of the Five Elements which are Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Spirit.
What Occurs if Self Mastery is achieved in this lifetime?
The path of initiation is eternal, as we are ever spiritually evolving to higher states of self realization and spiritual evolution. As each level of existence is mastered, the initiate will graduate to the next level of personal transmutation. To become a Master in this lifetime is to graduate from the material plane of suffering and death, transmuting physical form and full realization of one's Higher Self.
